About Cottage Country Family Health Team
CCFHT is a registered not for profit funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health to provide comprehensive primary care services to the residents of South Muskoka (including Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Muskoka Lakes and surrounding areas).
CCFHT in an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals providing comprehensive primary care to our patient population. Our team includes family physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, a dietician, a pharmacist, mental health counsellors, health education and administrators.
Position Summary
The Cottage Country Family Health Team (CCFHT) is seeking nominations for a new member of the Board of Directors.
The CCFHT Board of Directors is a governing board that is responsible for organizational stewardship, strategic governance and oversight of the organization. The Board works in partnership without Executive Director to provide fiduciary oversight and strategic direction to our growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced accountant or financial management professional to join our skills-based board this Fall. If you are a resident of South Muskoka with this experience who is passionate about our community and improving health care services we would love to hear from you.
Board members are expected to participate actively in governance activities including Board meetings (2 – 3 hours a month).
Board service is a voluntary position.
