Once the application is recieved, our team thoroughly reviews submissions and collaborates with the Manager of Operations to identify candidates whose qualifications best align with our requirements.

If you’re selected, you can generally expect to hear from us within 2 weeks following the application deadline. Our small (but mighty!) team is thrilled by the amount of interest we receive. With so many talented candidates, it may take us longer to get back to you, but we appreciate your patience and understanding.

For certain roles, our team will contact you to schedule a short pre-screening phone call to learn more about your experience and confirm your application details.

Interviews are generally conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams and typically involve the Hiring Manager, and one or two additional panel members. Each interview lasts approximately one hour and includes a mix of questions to assess both your fit for the role and your skills. Questions will be asked in English.

Generally, you can expect one interview for most roles, and two interviews for roles that are specialist or management level and above.

In some cases, interview questions may be shared in advance of the interview. Our team will notify you in advance if this is a possibility.

In some cases, you may be invited to an in-person interview. Our team will notify you in advance if this is a possibility.

At the end of each interview, we will set aside time for you to ask your questions, ensuring you have all the information needed to make an informed decision.

Following the interview process, we’ll schedule a 30-minute RJP call with the candidate to provide a clearer overview of the role and organizational context and address any outstanding questions. This is an opportunity for you to decide if the role is a good fit and would be a good opportunity to ask about the team’s microculture, workload, or upcoming projects you can expect to work on.

If you’re selected as a finalist, we will ask for references to gain insight into your previous work and experiences.

Some specific positions may require a background check based on the nature of the role. The team will notify you in advance if this step is required.

Successful candidates will receive a formal job offer, including details about salary, benefits, and start date.

Commencing upon acceptance of employment, our onboarding is designed to seamlessly integrate new team members into their roles.

Ahead of your first day, we’ll set up your IT equipment. You’ll also receive an onboarding schedule about a week before your first day of work to give you a sneak peek into the who, what, when and where of your first few weeks as a new member of CCFHT team!
